About the Author
Gregory Woods (b. 1953) is a poet and literary critic. He was born in Egypt and brought up in Ghana. His main collections of poetry, of which the latest was "An Ordinary Dog" (2011), are published by Carcanet Press. His main works of criticism, dealing with gay literature, are published by Yale University Press. He is Emeritus Professor of Gay & Lesbian Studies at Nottingham Trent University, UK.
