Alan James Brown is the author of several children’s books for different ages, including I Am a Dog (Red Fox) and Sword and Sorcery (Hodder). He lives with the children’s writer Berlie Doherty in Derbyshire, where he also plays folk music. He regularly leads creative writing classes for children
